As our society keeps getting more and more technologically advanced we were introduced to a so called 4G network by most wireless companies. This is a faster and more reliable network to push data to phones and internet cards. Sprint was first to debut its 4G powered by wimax and then Verizon’s 4G LTE and ATT also claims to have 4G with their HSPA+ network. But what REALLY is 4G? What most people don’t realize is that 4G is actually defined as at least 100 megabytes per second. That’s not even close to the highest out of all the "4G" networks, which is Verizon who claimed they received about 15 megabytes. Only 15 megabytes! that’s not even close to 100. This doesn’t seem fair because companies are false advertising say, "Come to our network because we have the largest 4G network," but no one even has real 4G and that isn’t fair to the consumer. This is why Verizon is calling their network 4G LTE and sprint has 4G with small letters next to it saying "powered by Wimax." Till the day a network has REAL 4G I will never pay for a fake network.
