Fido!

If you live in a big city where it is just too much of a hassle to drive a car but you still want some form of transportation while being green then here is the perfect thing for you. It is the Fido electric scooter. As the name suggests, the Fido is an electric scooter which has a top speed of 45 miles per hour and has a range of 35 miles. You can also purchase the optional extended pack which doubles the range to almost 70 miles! The Fido has disks brakes and hub motors which brings the maintenance to a minimum. The Fido is still a prototype but it is expected to cost about $5000. Personally I think that the Fido looks utterly horrible and wouldn’t be caught dead riding one but some people will do anything, like driving a Prius, to be green.
