Magical Fire-Dousing Wand!

Have you always wished that you could use magic but since you are a muggle you can’t? Well if there is one place in the world that could figure out how to mimic magic, it would be at Harvard University. Ludovico Cademartiri, a physicist at Harvard has managed to put out fire with a wave of his wand. Yes his wand is connected to a 600 Watt supply and the flame was only 18 inches high, but impressive none the less. "Think of it as blowing out a flame," said Kyle J. M. Bishop, a former postdoctoral fellow at the George M. Whitesides Research Group who continues to collaborate with Cademartiri and the Harvard team. "The [electrical field] pulls to separate the region that's hot and burning from the unburnt fuel, so that fuel will not continue to burn." Personally I think that they are just spouting out a bunch of big physics words to cover up the fact that they are really using magic to put the fire out..
